National Route 16 is a general national highway that starts and ends in Yokohama and connects the metropolitan area in a circular manner. It is one of the famous roads in the Kanto region. As you all know, National Route 16 is a major road connecting so-called ``commuter towns'' in the Kanto region. It is a busy road where many trucks and cars pass by, making it prone to traffic jams. National Route 16 runs along the Iruma River in Sayama City , so traffic jams tend to occur at surrounding bridges. There is also Aeon Style Sayama.
